This publication uses freight vehicle telematics data to provide measures of traffic congestion for freight vehicles for 73 selected routes across Australia’s six state capital cities in calendar 2023. The results show peaks in freight vehicle average travel times coincide with morning and evening peak commuter flows.

This report presents long-term forecasts of total Australian air passenger and air freight activity, and forecasts of aviation activity through Australia’s 14 busiest airports, between 2024 and 2050.
