We report regular statistics in the annual publications Trainline and the Australian Infrastructure and Transport Statistics Yearbook. Trainline includes railway transport tasks performed such as freight tonnages and patronage; characteristics of the railways and train operators' rolling stock that runs; and aspects of railway performance including safety, environment and reliability. The Australian Infrastructure and Transport Statistics Yearbook also includes passenger and freight rail activity and emissions.
